Palo Alto Networks Reports Critical Zero-Day Vulnerability Exploitation

Palo Alto Networks confirms active exploitation of critical zero-day vulnerability. A serious vulnerability in the firewall management interface allows unauthenticated attackers to execute remote code without user interaction, rated 9.3 on the CVSSv4.0 scale. Palo Alto Networks has advised customers to restrict access to the management interface to trusted internal IPs and to cut off internet access until a patch is available. Additionally, the U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) has added two other vulnerabilities in Palo Alto Networks’ products to its Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, highlighting ongoing security concerns.
