Wiz acquires Dazz for $450 million to enhance cloud security offerings. Cloud security provider Wiz has announced its acquisition of Israeli startup Dazz, specializing in security remediation and risk management, in a deal valued at $450 million. This acquisition aims to strengthen Wiz’s product portfolio, particularly following the launch of Wiz Code, a tool designed to help teams identify and address cloud risks in their code. Wiz CEO Assaf Rappaport emphasized the importance of connecting risks across the application lifecycle and noted that Dazz’s remediation engine will allow security teams to manage risks from multiple sources on a unified platform. Earlier this year, Wiz raised $1 billion for strategic acquisitions and turned down a $23 billion offer from Google.
