Palo Alto Networks issues warning over potential PAN-OS vulnerability. The cybersecurity firm has alerted customers to restrict access to their next-generation firewalls due to a potential remote code execution vulnerability in the PAN-OS management interface. While no active exploitation has been detected, Palo Alto Networks recommends that customers follow best practices to secure their management interfaces, including limiting access to trusted internal IP addresses. Additionally, the U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) has warned of ongoing attacks exploiting a critical authentication flaw in Palo Alto Networks’ Expedition software, urging federal agencies to secure their systems by November 28.
