New Public Health Cybersecurity Readiness Survey Set to Boost Preparedness Against Cyber Threats. The Joint Public Health Cybersecurity Task Group has launched an anonymous survey aimed at enhancing the cybersecurity readiness of state, local, tribal, and territorial public health agencies. Open until December 2, 2024, the survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete and seeks to gather insights from public health officials and IT leaders to assess current readiness and identify areas for improvement. The findings will inform federal grant funding recommendations and shape key policies in the public health sector, especially in light of increasing cyber threats highlighted by the UN.
