LastPass Adds Passkey Support for Users
/ 1 min read
LastPass introduces passkey support for enhanced security. The password manager is rolling out passkey functionality to both free and premium users, allowing for a more secure and convenient authentication method that replaces traditional passwords. Passkeys utilize a public-private key system, secured by biometric measures, to reduce the risk of password theft. Currently, this feature is in beta and limited to Google Chrome on desktop, requiring manual activation by users.
