Zscaler Launches Zero Trust Segmentation for Network Security

Zscaler introduces Zero Trust Segmentation to enhance network security. The new solution aims to improve security and reduce costs by eliminating the need for traditional firewalls and VPNs, creating virtual islands from existing company branches, factories, and cloud environments. Zscaler’s offering includes two components: one for branches and factories, which protects IoT and operational technology systems, and another for data centers and public clouds, which secures hybrid and multi-cloud environments. By integrating technology from its acquisition of AirGap, Zscaler claims the solution can deliver up to 50% cost savings while providing advanced ransomware protection and simplifying network management.
