Data breach exposes 325,000 users of Andrew Tate’s “The Real World”. In November 2024, the online course “The Real World,” founded by Andrew Tate, suffered a significant data breach that compromised the usernames, email addresses, and chat logs of approximately 324,382 users. The breach occurred on November 15 and was reported to HaveIBeenPwned on November 22. Hackers claimed to have exploited a vulnerability to disrupt the platform’s chatroom during a live stream, flooding it with emojis. The breach has raised concerns about the platform’s security, described as “hilariously insecure,” and has been linked to “hacktivism.” Tate, currently facing multiple legal investigations, has denied allegations of serious crimes, including human trafficking. The leaked data has been shared with HaveIBeenPwned and the journalism collective DDoSecrets for public awareness.
