🛠️ Palo Alto Networks PAN-OS vulnerability allows denial of service attacks. A critical Denial of Service (DoS) vulnerability in the DNS Security feature of Palo Alto Networks’ PAN-OS software enables unauthenticated attackers to send malicious packets that can reboot firewalls, potentially leading to maintenance mode. The issue affects several PAN-OS versions, but has been resolved in updates 10.1.14-h8, 10.2.10-h12, 11.1.5, and 11.2.3, among others. Customers using affected versions are advised to apply workarounds or expedite upgrades through support channels. Notably, PAN-OS 11.0 has reached end-of-life and will not receive a fix.
