A recent issue has been identified that affects certain USG FLEX and ATP Series devices, causing reboot loops and login access problems due to a failure in the Application Signature Update. Zyxel has disabled the problematic signature on their servers to mitigate further impact. Affected users must perform on-site recovery using a console cable, as remote recovery is not feasible. The recovery process involves entering debug mode, transferring a special firmware, and restoring backup configurations. Devices on the Nebula platform or USG FLEX H series are not impacted. Users are advised to check their App-Patrol signature version to determine if they are affected.
